WP-Content Listener

This plugin will protect any folder you select in the WP-Content directory so that only logged in users have access.

WordPress was first built to be a blogging system which is meant to share content and images.  It has since evolved to be usable as a Content Management System which may require some files to be protected and not public.  This plugin will protect any folder you select in the WP-Content directory so that only logged in users have access.

I’ve also included some code to use the Google Analytics Measurement Protocol API.  This uses server code to report statistics to Google Analytics instead of the traditional client-side javascript method.  Because it’s server-side, images and files not included on html pages can be tracked.

Since I’m running some additional code, so can you/your developers.  I’ve included hooks to run any custom code when a tracked file is accessed.  All the details can be found on the WordPress plugin repository here:  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-listener/
